Ernie, 6 years old, Wales:

“This is the best chocolate I’ve ever ever ever eaten.”

Rhian, Designer, London:

Honestly the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Like I’ve had some really f****** good desserts in restaurants, but you can’t buy them in a bar.

“Holy f***, You need to sell these.”

A note from the CEO (Chocolate Eating Officer), Siân:

Hello fellow food fanatics, chocoholics, family and friends. I just wanted to introduce myself, I’m Sian Bliss, artist by day and chocolatier by night. My first taste of chocolate came in the form of the icing atop my first birthday cake. I dunked my finger into the cake before the candle had even blown out, or so the story goes. From that moment onwards I have had an unstoppable sweet-tooth. A passion for cooking and baking quickly followed. As soon as I could hold a spatular and a whisk I’d assist my parents with whipping up a storm in the kitchen. My love of eating food has driven me to want to re-create delicious things I’ve tried, and improve on the things I think could be better.

Naturally, I began to make my own chocolate bars. I’ve often been left disappointed by expensive and fancy chocolate, but also find cheap treats too sweet and I question their sustainability and ethics. It is time for it’s blisss - an adventure into creating something I am truly proud of in terms of its quality, taste and ethics, and what I intend to be the best thing you’ve ever put in your mouth. And after all, with a last name like ‘Bliss’, what else could I do?
